RELEASE: 30 DECEMBER 2021
Part of the Jordan Brand Holiday 2021 collection, the Air Jordan 1 ‘Bred Patent’ has got sneakerheads divided. On one hand we’re getting the OG ‘Bred’ colour-blocking, but it’s also coming in patent leather form – which is arguably not as desirable as the original soft tumbled leather. The lead-up has also been quite long, as major delays are having us wait until the end of December to taste the hot ‘Bred’. Nevertheless, official images have just touched down and we’re sure that Jay fans are keen to take a look.
As we’ve seen in the plethora of leaks and on-foot shots, the ‘Bred’ colour-blocking remains intact, utilising black as the dominant tone and red along the perforated toe, Swoosh and rear heel panel. A white midsole keeps to the OG as well as Wings logo and red outsole. Glossy patent leather engulfs the entire upper. Said to be coming in full-family sizing, you’ll also receive a red Jumpman hang tag and embroidered ‘Family’ scripted on the lining.
Are you sold on the Air Jordan 1 ‘Bred Patent’? The new take on the OG has been locked in to arrive via SNKRS and Jumpman retailers on December 30. It’ll retail for $170, we’ll create a Where to Buy guide closer to the drop.
