Remy Ma is headed to ABC’s Queens with a recurring role on the budding drama series.

Zahir McGhee, the creator of the primetime show, announced the news on Thursday (Nov. 18) via Twitter, quoting a lyric from her 2005 classic hit.

“Don’t care if they can’t stand me/I’m sitting on top of the world like Brandy,” he wrote alongside a photo of himself and the Bronx rapper. “REMY MA has entered the QUEENDOM.”

The 41-year-old also re-confirmed the news while sitting in as a guest co-host on The Wendy Williams Show with Fat Joe on Nov. 23.

“Speaking of female rappers, we have great news. I am officially on the new show, ‘Queens,’ on ABC,” Remy announced, adding that Queens fans won’t see her on the show until the first week of January

It’s unclear the details of her character but Queens stars Eve, Naturi Naughton, Brandy and Nadine Velazquez, and follows four women in their 40s who reunite for a chance to recapture their fame and the swagger they had in the ’90s when they were legends in the hip hop world, according to the official site.

Most recently, Eve announced that she would be putting a pause on her character on the show to focus on her pregnancy. She is expecting her first child with her husband Maximillion Cooper and all of her focus will be on the baby.

According to Deadline, the rapper, who plays Brianna in Queens, will be on maternity leave. She’ll still appear in the majority of the first season, which is airing now, and her character will still reportedly return if the series is renewed for a second season.
