In a new biography called “It Was All a Dream: Biggie and the World That Made Him” by Justin Tinsley, the book is suggesting infamous rivals Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac were “close.”
In a podcast interview with Rolling Stone Music Now, Tinsley tells the outlet how they were “incredibly close” and referred to the two artists as “Gemini twins.”
“They instantly hit it off,” said Tinsley.
He also shares how the ‘One More Chance’ rapper not only liked hip hop, but was an avid listener of country music, too.
“His first DJ was his mom,” Tinsley told the publication.
“She was the one always playing music around the house. And she was a big fan of country music. You can’t say that that didn’t influence him in some way.”
