Cops seize 1,100 lbs. of illegal pot, 50 lbs. of edibles at N.J. storage facilities

Five men face drug charges after detectives armed with search warrants seized 1,100 pounds of marijuana and 50 pounds of THC edibles stored in Bergen and Hudson counties, authorities said Thursday.

Narcotics detectives with the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office on Tuesday learned the men were allegedly involved in the distribution of bulk shipments of illegal marijuana to the Fort Lee area.

The detectives obtained search warrants for four vehicles and storage facilities in Fort Lee and Jersey City, according to Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella.
