EMINEM PROVES GOOD LUCK CHARM FOR TERENCE CRAWFORD IN NINTH-ROUND TKO WIN

Eminem‘s appearance alongside Terence Crawford for the mega fight between him and Errol Spence Jr. has proved to be beneficial as the Omaha, Nebraska native beat Spence in a ninth-round technical knockout.

On Saturday (July 29), the legendary Detroit rapper introduced the 35-year-old undefeated fighter to the boisterous sold-out crowd at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

“Las Vegas, make some noise for the next Undisputed Welterweight champion of the world, Terence “Bud” fucking Crawford,” Eminem shouted.

Terence Crawford then appeared wearing all-Black attire, with a fishnet draped across him as well as fishnets on his boxing shorts and shoes. The fishnets were to signify that he was going to “capture” Errol Spence Jr. — as Spence likes to refer to himself as “The Big Shark.”

Em then walked Crawford to the ring as his 2002 track, “Lose Yourself” blared through the arena, although he didn’t perform the Grammy Award-winning track.

Crawford dominated Spence throughout the championship fight and won decisively in the ninth-round — making him the Undisputed Welterweight champion of the world.

He also improved his undefeated boxing record to 40-0 and became the first male boxer in history to go Undisputed in two different weight classes.

The highly-anticipated super fight brought out some of Eminem’s closest associates, including Royce Da 5’9″, Denaun Porter and Paul Rosenberg.

50 Cent also congratulated Bud on Instagram, writing, “Congratulations @tbudcrawford big win tonight. [world emoji] Top of the world baby!”

There were a bevy of other celebrities in the building too, including André 3000DJ Whoo KidChance The RapperVic MensaShannon Sharpe and many more.

Prior to the fight, Terence Crawford posted a clip to Instagram in the hope that Slim Shady would walk him to the ring for the anticipated bout against Errol Spence Jr.

“Ay, you know what I was thinking — crazy shit — it’d be dope to have like Eminem walk me out or something like that,” he said. “I don’t think he ever walked nobody out.”

Em caught wind of the video and responded in the comment section hours later: “This is 2 crazy.!!! You r 1 of my favorite boxers rn!”

Crawford doubled-down on his offer: “Pull Up Em! Let’s do some legendary shit [goat] x [goat].”

At the time, Eminem didn’t give a direct confirmation but vaguely left the door open to the possibility by replying with a pair of emojis.

Plenty of fans lent their stamp of approval to the idea of having Eminem escort Crawford to the ring, including producer Honorable C.N.O.T.E. “Eminem doin lose yaself would be fie frfr,” he wrote.

Eminem has long been a fan of boxing and he’s even throwing on the gloves himself these days whether that’s sparring at his house or stepping into the Peleton ring for speed boxing classes.
