Snoop Dogg has little tolerance for technical difficulties when it comes to video games — as Microsoft learned when the rap legend ran into problems while playing Madden 24.
On Monday (August 14), Snoop took to Instagram to go on a profane-filled rant towards the software company and video game franchise about the glitches that were hampering his gameplay.
“Come on now, that’s two hours since the game came out,” he vented. “Do I need to go on Instagram and cuss you muthafuckas out? Or is y’all gon’ fix this shit?
“I’m being nice and talking to you directly. I will go to Instagram and cuss you muthafuckas out like my friends want me to do right now. I’m tryna be cordial. Get this shit fucking fixed, man. What the fuck is y’all doing?”
“@eamaddennfl [shoulder shrug, alarm emojis], w. T. F. Are y’all doing we been waiting 2 hours to play the homies @microsoft [cursing mad face, mad face emojis],” Snoop captioned the angry post.
Although Madden 24 will be released worldwide on Friday (August 18), game enthusiasts got a chance to play the game early via a 10-hour on Tuesday (August 15).
The Doggfather’s tone soon changed, however, as it appears his issues were resolved and he was able to complete a Madden 24 game.
In a follow-up video, Snoop adopted his best sports commentator voice and recapped his digital win with the New York Jets over the Dallas Cowboys.
“The thriller, what a doozy!” he said excitedly. “The Cowboys fall to the J-E-T-S, Jets, Jets, Jets. Elroy A-Rod Jetson comes and delivers a victory as Dakota [Dak Prescott] throws no touchdown but plenty interceptions as usual. There he is, your quarterback Dak nabbit.”
Snoop simply captioned the post: “Maddens workin. [laughing emojis, dog paw emojis, Black clapping hands, fire emojis].”

While it’s no secret that Snoop Dogg is a longtime NFL fan, this isn’t his first foray into the gaming world.
Last year, the West Coast rap legend became a playable operator in the Call of Duty.
According to a previous Call of Duty blog, his lifelike character was made available on Season 3 of Call of Duty: Mobile, Vanguard and Warzone.
At the time, Snoop shared the news with his millions of Instagram followers by posting a screenshot of his in-game character. “The D O Double G is back in Call of Duty and this time I’m in the freakin’ game!” he wrote in the caption.
“Excited to be working with the COD team to bring some fly features for you all to enjoy. It’s dope….. y’all can play as me and get these sick items that have Snoop written all over them.”
