DIDDY STEPS ‘OFF THE GRID’ & INTO MOVIE THEATRES WITH NEW ‘LOVE ALBUM’ FILM

Diddy has exteneded his moguldom into the film world, dropping a teaser poster for Off The Grid, which promises to feature music from his most recent project TheLove Album: Off The Grid.

The film, which also stars Eva Apio, a London-based model best known for her campaigns with Louis Vuitton and Burberry, doesn’t have a release date yet, but the Bad Boy billionaire teased its impending arrival on Friday (October 27) on his Instagram page

“The Movie ‘Off The Grid’ starring Sean Diddy Combs & Eva Apio coming to a theatre near you. Inspired by The Love Album,” he wrote in the caption.

While Diddy has certainly expanded his musical repertoire with the r&b sounds of TheLove Album, his son King Combs recently said that this is a one-off thing, and his dad would soon be back to the Hip Hop that made him famous.

Last month, TMZ caught up with King Combs in New York City, and he spilled the beans on his father’s plans.

I’ma be on [his] next [album],” the younger Combs said of his dad. “We doing the Hip Hop album coming soon.”

Diddy’s The Love Album: Off The Grid arrived September 15, with appearances from the likes of The Weeknd, 21 Savage, French Montana, Busta Rhymes, Justin Bieber, Swae Lee, Fabolous, and Burna Boy.

The Bad Boy leader’s first fully solo release in 17 years, the album also features the distinct voices of Mary J. Blige, John Legend, The-Dream, Babyface, Ty Dolla $ign and Jazmine Sullivan, among others.

During the album’s release month, Diddy received the key to New York City, as well as his hometown of Mount Vernon, and was honored at the MTV Video Music Awards with the Global Icon Award.

Puff also performed at the awards show, marking his first VMAs performance since 2005
