Afrika Bambaataa Accuser Backtracks On Previous Claim Of Him Being A Pedophile

In 2016, multiple men came forward accusing Hip-Hop pioneer Afrika Bambaataa of sexual molestation. One of the accusers, Ronald “Bee-Stinger” Savage, claimed that Bambaataa had abused him as a teenager. However, in a recent interview with Chuck “Jigsaw” Creekmur at AllHipHop, Savage has backtracked on his previous claim and now states that Bambaataa is not a pedophile.

Savage explained that he had lied about his age at the time of the alleged abuse, and that he now believes Bambaataa thought he was of age and was engaging in consensual acts. He also revealed that he had forgotten about using a fake ID to appear older at the time of the incidents. Savage expressed regret for his actions and apologized for his part in the accusations against Bambaataa.

“This is something that took place 35 to over 40 years ago,” Savage said. “This man has never been convicted of anything. Let it go. I needed to set the record straight [and get] my closure.”

It is important to note that Bambaataa has never been convicted of any crimes related to the allegations made against him. With Savage’s retraction of his accusations, it raises questions about the credibility of the other accusers and the validity of the claims against Bambaataa.

This development serves as a reminder of the complexities of sexual abuse allegations and the impact they can have on both the accusers and the accused. It is crucial for individuals to come forward with honesty and transparency when making such serious accusations, and for the public to approach these situations with caution and empathy.

As the story continues to unfold, it is essential to consider all perspectives and take into account the possibility of false accusations. The case of Afrika Bambaataa and his accusers highlights the need for thorough investigation and careful consideration of the facts before passing judgment.
