Team ROC Launches ‘Corruption Uncovered’ Podcast Highlighting Failures in Kansas City Justice System

HipHopRaisedMeTheBlog.com is proud to announce that Team ROC, the social justice division of Roc Nation, has launched a new podcast titled Corruption Uncovered. This true crime series aims to shed light on systemic failures and misconduct within the Kansas City, Kansas criminal justice system. The first episode is set to premiere on December 6 across all major podcast platforms.

The podcast will investigate allegations of corruption within the Kansas City Police Department (KCKPD), focusing particularly on the trial of former detective Roger Golubski. Golubski faces federal charges for abusing his authority to extort and sexually assault Black women and teenagers. Corruption Uncovered will explore his trial and its broader implications for the KCKPD’s conduct and its effects on the local community.

Dania Diaz, Managing Director of Team ROC, stated, “There is a need for powerful and comprehensive storytelling in the criminal justice sector so that the voices of those who have been silenced are heard. Our hope is for Corruption Uncovered to not only fulfill that purpose but also to serve as an investigative platform that exposes misconduct, demands accountability, and drives change from the people and systems that are duty-bound to protect their citizens.”

Hosted by journalist Josie Duffy Rice, the podcast will include survivor testimonies, legal insights, and viewpoints from activists and community members. Produced by Team ROC in collaboration with Pineapple Street Studios, Corruption Uncovered will highlight the resilience of those fighting for justice amid troubling revelations.
