Polo G Celebrates Victory After Winning New York Gun Case

Polo G is celebrating a significant legal victory. After spending much of 2024 dealing with gun-related charges, the rapper took to social media to announce that he has successfully cleared himself of the accusations in New York.

On December 9, Polo G shared the good news with his fans, expressing his gratitude to his lawyer, Stacey Richman, in a heartfelt post that included a screenshot of their text conversation. “Beat my case in NYC,” he wrote, highlighting his excitement and appreciation for her support. Richman’s message informed him that his case had been dismissed and sealed, bringing relief after an arrest in April 2024.

Polo G’s legal troubles included charges of criminal possession of a firearm. According to an NYPD spokesperson, he did not resist arrest when officers arrived at the scene following reports of a firearm. At the time of his arrest, Polo was in possession of $23,000 in cash.

While Polo G is now free from his New York case, he still faces other legal challenges. In August 2023, a police raid at his Los Angeles home uncovered multiple weapons, and he has previous charges stemming from a 2021 Miami arrest that included battery on a police officer and criminal mischief. Despite these ongoing issues, fans remain hopeful that the Chicago native can focus on his music career. Recently, he featured on Lil Tjay’s track “Way Out the Hood II.”
