Sade Adu Makes a Triumphant Return on Our New “R&B Raised Me” Playlist

At hiphopraisedmetheblog.com, where we celebrate the knowledge, the culture, and the lifestyle of hip-hop, we’re excited to share the latest update to our “R&B Raised Me” playlist! As the year winds down, we bring you the freshest tracks from the genre, and this week, we have something truly special.

Sade Adu has graced us with her first official release in nearly six years, titled “Young Lion.” This track is part of the TRANSA compilation from the non-profit organization Red Hot, which aims to uplift and support transgender artists and their communities. “Young Lion” is especially poignant as it is dedicated to Sade’s transgender son, offering a beautifully atmospheric and soothing sound that showcases her timeless artistry.

In addition to Sade’s return, we want to highlight Roy Woods, whose latest project “Rolling Stone” is a brief but captivating offering. Featuring a collaboration with 03 Greedo, Woods shines throughout the tracklist with his signature genre-blending style. One standout track, “Solo,” features an emotional vocal performance that pairs perfectly with airy instrumentals and steady percussion, making it a must-listen.

We also can’t overlook the new deluxe edition of Khalid’s “Sincere,” which adds several collaborative tracks and solo pieces to the original lineup. Notable additions include “Personal” featuring Normani, “Make It Up To You” with Ayra Starr, and “MIA” featuring Chlöe. The upbeat “MIA” stands out with its lively percussion, creating an infectious vibe that contrasts with the project’s more somber themes, showcasing the undeniable chemistry between the two talented vocalists.

As 2024 comes to a close, it’s not just about R&B. Our “Dope Shhh!!!!” playlist update also highlights the latest in hip-hop, including Lil Baby’s new single “Touchdown.” With the announcement of his upcoming album “Wham,” set to drop on January 3, 2025, this hard-hitting track hints at some exciting bangers on the horizon.

Stay tuned for more updates and enjoy the new music as we continue to celebrate the past 51 years of hip-hop and its rich culture!
