50 Cent is eyeing a new venture.
Always on the lookout for fresh opportunities, 50 Cent is capitalizing on the rising fascination with the figure known as the CEO killer, Luigi Mangione. The G-Unit founder took to Instagram on December 10 to express his interest in Mangione, who has been charged with the murder of CEO Brian Thompson. 50 Cent believes Mangione could provide the basis for a riveting documentary.
“I don’t know, I kinda like this killer,” 50 Cent wrote in his post, sharing a quote from Mangione. The accused claims he acted independently and executed his plan with relative simplicity. This straightforwardness appears to have piqued the rapper’s interest. “I’m sorry this is going this way but I’m doing a documentary on him,” 50 Cent stated. “He is special! I apologize in advance for anyone who doesn’t understand.” This announcement follows the release of Mangione’s manifesto, which clearly outlines his grievances with the U.S. healthcare system.
In his manifesto, Mangione reportedly expressed, “Frankly, these parasites simply had it coming. A reminder: the US has the #1 most expensive healthcare system in the world, yet we rank roughly #42 in life expectancy.” 50 Cent has a knack for identifying what captivates audiences, a skill that contributed to the success of his series Power on Starz. This talent also explains why Netflix has commissioned a documentary produced by 50 Cent about Diddy.
However, 50 Cent isn’t just focused on Mangione. He has also commented on recent allegations against fellow rapper Jay-Z, questioning whether they would impact the Super Bowl. In a bold move, 50 Cent mocked Jay-Z for attending a red carpet event amid the controversy, stating, “Jay said they said I rapped [sic] a kid, everybody get dressed we going to see Mufasa LOL.” His remarks show little sympathy for his peer in the industry.
