Cam’ron found himself dealing with frostbite after a snowmobiling adventure took a turn for the worse on Christmas Day. The Dipset rapper celebrated the holiday by hitting the slopes with friends and family, but things went awry when he ignored warnings from an instructor and ventured into a particularly snowy area of the mountain.
In an Instagram video recap of his holiday, Cam’ron recounted the incident, saying, “They told me, ‘Don’t go up there, Cam! It’s too much snow!’ What I do? Don’t tell me what to do. I’m going up there ’cause we 10,000 feet in the sky, we really in the clouds.” Unfortunately, his rebellious spirit led to his snowmobile getting stuck, which resulted in it rolling over.
Cam’ron detailed the aftermath: “What happens? My snowmobile gets stuck and then it rolls over. And now we’re stuck there for like 10 minutes. And now I’m in the car with frostbite on my feet,” he explained, showing a close-up of the affected area. While he hasn’t provided further updates on his condition, frostbite can take weeks to heal, depending on the severity.
Despite the minor health setback, Cam’ron is eager to move forward with his plans. He recently announced an upcoming tour with his It Is What It Is co-hosts Ma$e and Treasure “Stat Baby” Wilson, taking their popular sports talk show on the road across North America next year. The 12-date tour is set to kick off on February 26 in Boston and conclude on April 12 in Miami, with stops in cities like New York, Oakland, Toronto, Chicago, and Atlanta. Each show promises to deliver laughs and engaging discussions surrounding sports and pop culture, along with interviews featuring sports icons and surprise guests.
In addition to his ventures in sports media, Cam’ron has been reflecting on his past in the rap game. Recently, he revisited his old rivalry with 50 Cent, questioning him about a “devious” move made during their late 2000s feud. During an episode of his YouTube show, Talk With Flee, Cam’ron quizzed 50 about a time he brought out Jim Jones and Juelz Santana during a show in New York City, which Cam viewed as a betrayal.
Cam explained, “We were having interior problems at Dipset. Nobody knew about this, nobody knew that we were not on the same page. So when me and [50] were battling, you had members of Dipset to come to your show.” 50 Cent humorously responded, “I just took the shot ’cause I wasn’t sure [Jim Jones] was going to go for it. I was like, ‘We like Jimmy better than you anyway, Cam!’”
As Cam’ron navigates through recovery and prepares for his upcoming tour, fans are sure to remain engaged with his journey both in sports media and the world of hip-hop. Stay tuned for further updates on Cam’ron’s condition and his future endeavors.
