Alabama Barker Reveals The Actual Facts From Her Reported Nicotine-Related Hospitalization

Alabama Barker, the 19-year-old daughter of Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, has taken to social media to clarify recent reports surrounding her hospitalization. Initially, TMZ reported that Alabama sought medical attention after experiencing nicotine withdrawal, prompting her visit to a Los Angeles hospital. This decision came as she has been actively pursuing her music career, leading those close to her to warn about the detrimental effects of nicotine on her voice.

In her Instagram Story, Alabama shared that she quit vaping cold turkey about a month ago, but the abrupt change took a toll on her health. Despite this, she celebrated her 19th birthday with joy, showcasing beautiful bouquets and balloons in her posts.

However, Alabama has addressed the media’s portrayal of her hospitalization, stating, “I just want to clarify that I was not in the hospital this month or last. The situation occurred some time ago, and I was there for about three hours before being discharged.” She emphasized that her treatment involved nothing more than a nicotine patch and an inhaler.

Alabama’s request to the public was clear: “Let’s please avoid spreading any rumors and focus in moving forward.” The response online has been mixed, with some fans expressing fatigue over the continuous headlines surrounding her life. Nevertheless, many are relieved to hear that she is doing well and hope for her continued health as she navigates her career in the spotlight.
