Diddy is allegedly refusing to leave his jail cell as he faces multiple sexual assault lawsuits. While awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges, the Bad Boy Records founder is accused of delaying proceedings in two specific cases by not accepting legal documents.
In recent court filings, Tony Buzbee’s co-counsel claimed that Diddy is “refusing to leave his cell to accept service,” which has caused a holdup in the lawsuits. The attorney has requested that scheduled court conferences on January 10 be postponed to February, although it appears that an agreement has been reached between the involved parties on how to proceed.
Diddy’s legal team has not yet commented on these allegations. The latest lawsuit against him comes from Phillip Pines, who claims he was sexually assaulted and harassed during his employment as Diddy’s assistant from 2019 to 2021. Pines alleges that he was responsible for managing extravagant parties and was subjected to disturbing demands during these events.
According to the lawsuit, Pines would prepare hotel rooms for “Wild King Nights,” stocking them with alcohol, sex toys, and illegal drugs. He claims that after the parties, he was tasked with cleaning up bodily fluids and drug remnants, and that he was pressured to engage in sexual acts while Diddy watched.
Diddy has strongly denied all allegations, asserting through his legal team that he has never sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone. They emphasized that the numerous lawsuits filed against him do not change the truth and expressed confidence in prevailing in court.
As the legal battles unfold, Diddy is also facing serious charges in a criminal case that includes racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution, with the trial set to begin in May 2025.
