BLUEFACE & CHRISEAN ROCK DID GET MARRIED — BUT NOT HOW YOU’D EXPECT

Blueface has moved past his objections to the institution of marriage and tied the knot to Chrisean Rock — at least for professional reasons if not personal.

According to TMZ, the couple did visit a wedding chapel on Friday (January 27), as Chrisean had hinted they would earlier in the week. But the leaked footage that has surfaced of the alleged wedding seems to have been captured on the set of a music video.

The behind the scenes look include photos of Chrisean Rock in a long, white, lace-accented gown, holding hands with Blueface with their heads bowed as though they were praying while standing in a wedding chapel.

Los Angeles-area bakery Bree’s Cakes also took to its IG Stories to share a photo of a two-tiered cake decorated with various pics of the couple. The cake featured a sign that read, “Mr. and Mrs. Poter,” alluding to Blueface’s real name, Johnathan Porter

On Wednesday (January 25), Chrisean Rock teased her pending nuptials with a number of social media posts. Per TMZ, she paid a visit to Anita’s Bridal Boutique in Los Angeles and informed staffers that she was searching for the perfect wedding gown so that she could marry her man on Friday.

The outlet reported that Rock meandered around Anita’s — whose dresses often cost between $3,500 and $7,000 — for a moment before pointing out a dress on display on a mannequin. She reportedly tried it on, didn’t ask for any adjustments or alterations, and offered a down payment.

During an appearance on Revolt’s The Jason Lee Show the following day, however, Blueface seemingly drowned out the wedding bells by saying he doesn’t even believe in the institution of marriage.

“No! I don’t believe in marriage, but I love her,” the “Thotiana” rapper said when asked about the chances of him tying the knot with Chrisean, prompting a shocked reaction from his Crazy In Love co-star, who was also on hand for the interview.

The tumultuous couple have taken fans and critics on yet another roller coaster ride in the last few weeks, beginning with a viral clip that saw Chrisean Rock escorted out of a podcasting studio on January 19. Two days later, she and Blueface engaged in a nasty Twitter spat after she revealed that she was pregnant and he announced they had broken up while vehemently denying that the child was his.

On Monday (January 23), Rock and her on-again-off-again partner where caught on camera fighting two women, reportedly after she attempted to surprise Blue by showing up to his birthday party uninvited.

By Wednesday, the two had seemingly made peace, joining forces to release a new single titled “Lit.”
