MISTAH F.A.B. TAPS THE GAME & LARRY JUNE FOR NEW ALBUM ‘MARCH MOTION

Mistah F.A.B. has recruited The Game and Larry June for his latest release, which has already allowed him to tie his album output for 2022 in less than three full months.

On Friday (March 3), F.A.B. delivered his fifth project of the year, an 11-track project titled March Motion. The lead single hears the Bay Area mainstay connect with The Game and newcomers $cuba Sleeze and Yung Semi on “You From Cali.”

Elsewhere, Larry June checks in to open the track, “On The Unda,” while G Perico and Sada Baby lend their voices to “Dead Homies” and “Bands With Somebody,” respectively.

Hours after the album hit streaming platforms, Fabby Davis Jr. took to Instagram to remind fans that he has promised to deliver a continuous onslaught of new music this year.

Every other week I’m dropping an album,” he said in the March Motion trailer. “It’s non-stoppin’, we not playin’ no games. And I ain’t just droppin songs to be droppin’ em. N-gga I really got slaps and claps on all these muthafuckin’ albums though.

“135,000 listeners last month, that ain’t bad for a n-gga like me,” he added. “Man, I been in this game hella moons. So to be able to still have folks really rockin’ with a n-gga, following and listening and really growing: hey, man I’m happy about that!”

So far, Mistah F.A.B. has more than made good on his proposed release schedule, as he has been dropping music at a feverish pace lately. March Motion isn’t just his fifth album of 2023, it also marks his seventh release since the top of December.

In February, he linked up with Droop-E to deliver The Hyphy Era. The 10-track offering came just a week after Brick Phones & Beepers 2, which arrived February 10.

On January 27, the Oakland rapper put out the third volume of his Gold Chains & Taco Meat series, following on from parts one and two released in 2019 and 2020 respectively.

The 10-track project, which features appearances from Philthy Rich, Yung Semi and more, is his second full-length release of 2023, coming on the heels of his smooth, and on occasion Afrobeat-inspired, Hey Baby Say Baby, which arrived on January 13.

But his recent releases don’t stop there. At the end of December, Fabby Davis Jr. also shared the space-themed 10-track project Jupiter, which again features Yung Semi alongside 3LISE and Don Daville.

Mistah F.A.B. is one of rap’s most prolific artists when it comes to putting out top quality music at a high clip. In 2022 alone he released five albums: Black Designer, The Recycle Bin with Mistah F.A.B., Lambos & Mazi’s, Key to the City, and the aforementioned Jupiter.

When he’s not making music, Mistah F.A.B. can be found supporting his beloved Golden State Warriors, either courtside or when he takes on hosting duties at one of their many championship parades.
