Swizz Beatz has previewed a new JAY-Z and Lil Wayne collaboration he has in the works from his upcoming EP.

The legendary producer teased the single on Instagram on Monday (April 17), announcing that it will drop on Friday (April 21) as part of his Hip Hop 50: Vol. 2 project

SWIZZ X WAYNE X HOV THIS SHIT RIGHT HERE DROP 4/21 off my new EP,” Swizz wrote in his caption. “Life begins at the end of your comfort Zone Let’s Go! Happy Monday! Updated EP track list coming soon!!!!! It’s on…..”

Check out the teaser below:

This will be the first time the trio has joined forces on one song together, but it’s far from the first time Swizz has worked with either Hov or Tunechi. Swizz most notably linked with JAY-Z on his Blueprint 3 cut “On To The Next One,” while he connected with Weezy on Tha Carter V track “Uproar” as well as his latest single “Kant Nobody,” which is set to appear on the sixth installment in his iconic Tha Carter series.

JAY-Z and Lil Wayne, meanwhile, have previously sharpened their lyrical swords on “Mr. Carter,” “Hello Brooklyn 2.0,” “Swagga Like Us,” and most recently DJ Khaled’s “God Did,” which they performed together at the 2023 Grammys in February.

Swizz Beatz first teased Hip Hop 50: Vol. 2 last week by unveiling an epic trailer for the project on Instagram.

The Bronx, New York native shared a black and white video clip backed by a neck-snapping beat and powerful vocals, while teasing a star studded lineup that includes Nas, Jadakiss, Lil Durk, and Benny The Butcher.

Other names appearing on the project include A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Fivio Foreign, Bandmanrill and Scar Lip.

“I started as a DJ in the Bronx. Everything just happened so fast,” Swizz Beatz can be heard saying over the track. “You’re either going to pay with money or pain.”

“This is not a warning ! It’s already tooooooo late [sweating bullets emoji] 4/21 !!!!!!!!” he captioned the post.

The project is part of Mass Appeal’s Hip Hop 50: The Soundtrack initiative commemorating Hip Hop’s 50th birthday this year, and follows DJ Premier’sHip Hop 50: Vol. 1 EP which dropped last year.
