Beyonce Handles “RENAISSANCE” Wardrobe Malfunction Like A Pro During London Tour Stop

Someone’s getting fired for not pinning that hat down,” one TikTok user quipped after watching the moment unfold.

There’s a reason why some of Beyonce’s fans have paid serious money to see her perform live upwards of 30 times – she’s a true professional. While most of the Houston native’s concerts go off without a hitch, when things do happen, she handles them exactly as you’d expect her to. During Queen B’s final night in London on the RENAISSANCE World Tour she experienced a wardrobe malfunction in the midst of “AMERICA HAS A PROBLEM,” but she cooly played it off and continued to dance along to the fan favourite track

It was the mother of three’s first time donning the outfit for the song (we’ve already seen countless wardrobe changes from Bey, and she hasn’t even hit the US yet), and her hat nearly slid off her head while she was focusing on her fancy footwork. Thankfully she caught it before it could fall, and continued on with the choreography while holding it in place as if that was what she had intended all along. Of course, fans in the audience caught the moment on camera, and TikTok has seen been having a field jay cracking jokes.

“She’s gonna fire that hat,” one user quipped in the comments. “Someone’s getting fired for not pinning that hat down 😂,” another added, poking fun at the extreme seriousness of Beyonce’s Virgo nature. “Didn’t she rehearse with the hat?? Why wait until on stage to test???” someone else asked.

Regardless of the minor slip-up, some feel that the “Halo” hitmaker’s final night in London may have been her best work on the RENAISSANCE World Tour so far. Her next show is set for later this week in Barcelona, Spain, and we can’t wait to see what stage looks she has in store then.

For almost any artist a collaboration with Jay-Z would be a big deal and Benny The Butcher is no different. The Griselda rapper came tantalizingly close to making a song with Jay-Z, but it ended up falling through. In 2019 Benny signed a management deal with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation and the rapper gave him some advice. “He was basically just telling me … basically trying to keep Griselda together,” Benny said in an interview at the time. He seems to have taken Jay’s advice as he continues to frequently collaborate with fellow Griselda members Westside Gunn and Conway The Machine

While this story took place a few years ago, clearly its a missed opportunity that Benny The Butcher still thinks about. It hasn’t stopped Benny from prolifically releasing music though. He has a number of projects under his belt in the past few years, most recently 2022’s Tana Talk 4. If this story sounds familiar, its because Benny recently told a similar story of a Drake collab that didn’t pan out.

Thankfully, Benny The Butcher was able to pull off a J. Cole feature. That resulted in Benny’s most well-known song “Johnny P’s Caddy.” He recently reflected on the track in a different conversation with Joe Budden. Tell us what you think a potential Benny and Jay-Z collab might have sounded like in the comments below.
