Beyoncé‘s Renaissance concert film is projected to do some major numbers at the box office ahead of its opening weekend.

According to a report from Deadline on Tuesday (November 28), Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé is currently looking at a global opening of between $30 million to $40 million. The movie hits theaters on Thursday (November 30) at 7pm local time and will have a weekend run in theaters before it hits VOD on December 13.

The movie’s final pre-release trailer opens with Bey’s six-year-old daughter Rumi Carter recording her mother and her grandfather Matthew Knowles backstage using a phone, before she is advised to hold it in a landscape angle rather than portrait.

“Rumi, now I teach you a trick, you gotta turn it to the side,” the Houston native says while facing the device

A little later in the teaser, the 42-year-old shares one way in motherhood has shifted her perspective, saying: “Time is my biggest obstacle. It’s impossible to not realize how fast it’s going when you’re looking through the eyes of your children.

“I think about all of my heroes and all that they endured — I know that all of my struggle and sacrifice is opening the door for the next. They are the new beginning.”

On Saturday (November 25), the film had a star-studded premiere at the Samuel Goldwyn Theatre in Beverly Hills, California. It wasn’t long before Vogue’s photographs from the star-studded event began going viral, with a lot of online commenters calling Beyoncé out, saying that she was trying to look like a white woman.

Her mother wasn’t having that, though.

Tina Knowles-Lawson let loose with a lengthy Instagram post addressed to people who attacked her daughter’s appearance.

“Came across this today and decided to post it after seeing all of the stupid ignorant self, hating racist statements about her, lightening her skin, and wearing platinum hair wanting to be white,” she wrote next to a video montage of the disparaging comments. “She does a film, called the renaissance, where the whole theme is silver with silver hair, a silver carpet, and suggested silver attire and you bozos decide that she’s trying to be a white woman and is bleaching her skin?

How sad is it that some of her own people continue the stupid narrative with hate and jealousy. Duh, she wore silver hair to match her silver dress as a fashion statement clown. . ALIEN Superstar duh! What’s really sad is that a white woman had the audacity to reach out to Neal Beyonces hairstylist she was from TMZ to say that the fans are saying that she wants to be white and she wanted to get a statement about it from Neal. Well that made, my blood boil , that this white woman felt so entitled to discuss her blackness.”

Knowles-Lawson added: “Every time she does something that she works her ass off for and is a statement of her work ethic , talent and resilience. Here you sad little haters come out the woodwork. Jealousy and racism , sexism , double standards , you perpetuate those things . Instead of celebrating a sister or just ignoring if you don’t like her, I am sick of you losers.

I know that she is going to be pissed at me for doing this, but I am fed up ! This girl minds her own business. She helps people whenever she can. She lifts up & promotes black women and underdogs at all times
