Papoose Files for Divorce from Remy Ma After Infidelity Allegations: ‘She Cheated Repeatedly’
Papoose has responded to Remy Ma’s recent accusations of infidelity, marking his first public comment on their troubled marriage since speculation about their relationship began over a year ago.
The couple’s ongoing issues came to light on December 11, when Remy publicly alleged that Papoose had cheated on her with world champion boxer Claressa Shields. She shared what she claimed were text messages between Papoose and Shields, accusing the boxer of spreading false narratives about her in the media. Remy also claimed that Papoose had previously told her that he would “never mess with you because you’re ugly.”
In a dramatic turn of events, Papoose took to social media to counter Remy’s claims, alleging that she had cheated on him “repeatedly” and expressing his desire for a divorce. “Sadly, @remyma is a narcissist,” he stated. “She chose to cheat repeatedly. Now that I’ve finally moved on, she’s playing the victim.”
Papoose continued, “I have requested a divorce numerous times. She would rather chase clout on social media than handle this like adults.” He emphasized his reluctance to engage in public drama for the sake of their 6-year-old child, stating, “As you can see, I remained quiet through all of this.”
The first signs of trouble in Remy Ma and Papoose’s once-stable relationship became apparent last year, when reports surfaced of Remy’s alleged affair with battle rapper Eazy The Block Captain. In June 2023, Papoose reportedly confronted Eazy at a battle rap event for being “too cozy” with Remy, although she has denied that the incident occurred.
Recently, Remy has reverted to using her maiden name and has been seen publicly with Eazy multiple times. Eazy hinted last September that he would address the rumors surrounding him and Remy soon, but as of now, he has not publicly commented on the speculation.
