Dwight Howard has officially announced that he is engaged to rapper Amy Luciani. The couple went public with their relationship on December 20, and it appears they have been together for some time, as they are already taking this significant step.
Amy shared a video on social media showcasing their stunning diamond engagement rings, capturing a moment where Dwight admires her sparkling ring while they celebrate at a nightclub. The size of Amy’s ring is impressive, and Dwight’s ring features numerous diamonds as well.
Expressing her joy, Amy stated, “I was enjoying you so much out of the public eye, but here we are. Thank you for bringing me back to the word.” She added, “I’m just thankful, happy, and ready for everything that’s coming our way. I prayed really deep on a Thursday, not knowing that two days later, God would send me a Bible-toting, tattooed giant with the same heart as me. Thank you.”
In response, Dwight shared several recent photos of the couple, simply captioning them with “Happy.” He also included hashtags such as “black love,” “prayed for this,” along with an infinity symbol and a heart emoji.
While it’s unclear how long Dwight and Amy have been together, it seems they only went public about their relationship after the engagement footage surfaced. Dwight, a retired NBA champion and current Basketball Hall of Fame nominee, has had a busy year, including competing on “Dancing With The Stars.”
