Memphis Bleek Questions Dame Dash’s Claims of Reconciliation

In a recent development, Dame Dash has asserted that he and Memphis Bleek have resolved their differences following a phone conversation. However, Bleek appears skeptical about the authenticity of this claim.

During an appearance on his America Nu Network, Dash discussed his recent public exchanges with Bleek and fellow rapper N.O.R.E., stating that their issues were laid to rest after a candid conversation. “N.O.R.E. put Bleek on the phone and something happened that I really liked,” Dash shared. “We talked like brothers. At the end of the day, we worked it out. It felt like real brothers arguing over things they didn’t like about each other… For me, it was some real man shit.”

While Dash seemed optimistic about their relationship moving forward, Bleek cast doubt on the resolution by reposting a clip of Dash’s remarks on X, accompanied by two thinking face emojis, suggesting he is not convinced that their issues have truly been settled.

The tension between the two flared up recently when Dash alleged that JAY-Z had ghostwritten many of Bleek’s verses. “I don’t think Bleek wanted to take over [Roc-A-Fella]. I don’t think he had the ability to,” Dash stated in an interview with The Art of Dialogue. “Jay was writing a lot of his rhymes. So if Jay retired, that meant he was out of business as well.”

Dash further criticized Bleek’s work ethic, claiming, “I’ve always had to push Bleek to put an album out. I personally think I wanted more for Bleek than Bleek wanted for himself.” He urged Bleek to take initiative and create his own opportunities rather than relying on others.

Bleek did not take Dash’s comments lightly and responded on social media, expressing disbelief at Dash’s statements with a playful, “He wilding right now bro [crying face emojis].”

Regarding the ghostwriting allegations, Bleek quipped, “I wish maybe I [would] still be lit [fire emoji]. And people said I was whack [thinking face emoji], so if Jay wrote for me, he whack [too] [crying face emojis].”

As the back-and-forth continues, it remains to be seen whether Bleek and Dash can truly put their differences aside or if further public exchanges will arise.
