In a jaw-dropping confession, legendary rapper Cam’ron has revealed that he once attended private school, a fact that has left many fans astounded. During a candid discussion with Elliott Wilson on his YouTube series “Talk With Flee,” the Dipset icon opened up about his educational background, dispelling the tough-guy image often associated with him.
Cam’ron reflected on his upbringing, stating, “All my shit is calculated, I’m not no wild n-gga by accident.” He explained that his mother enrolled him in private school before he transitioned to public school in high school, where he felt out of place. “This shit weird,” he remarked. Despite not graduating, he boasted about his mathematical prowess, declaring, “I’m one of the best mathematicians in the world. I’m super duper good at math.”
The rapper expressed his disdain for traditional education, particularly algebra, stating, “When I go to the bank, I can’t go, ‘Y + X = Z. Could you cash that?’ No.” He went on to share his unconventional academic journey, revealing that he was admitted to college despite not finishing high school but was later expelled during his second semester. He humorously noted, “I know how to beat the system and get away with it,” adding that shortly after, his friend Ma$e landed a record deal.
Cam’ron’s media presence is on the rise, with his new talk show gaining traction and plans to take his popular series “It Is What It Is” on the road this year. The tour will kick off in Boston on February 26 and wrap up in Miami on April 12, featuring interviews with sports icons and surprise guests along the way.
