“TDE’s Alleged Sexual Harassment Victim Speaks Out After Label Dismisses Lawsuit as a ‘Shakedown'”

In a shocking turn of events, one of the women suing Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE) for sexual misconduct has stood firm in her allegations following the label’s vehement denial of the lawsuit. The lawsuit, filed on January 31, 2025, accuses several TDE employees, including senior executives Brandon Tiffith and Anthony “Moosa” Tiffith Jr.—the sons of label founder Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith—of subjecting the plaintiffs to sexual harassment and assault.

TDE’s attorney, Marty Singer, has publicly dismissed the claims, labeling the lawsuit a “shakedown.” In a statement, he claimed that the two female plaintiffs, Linda Luna and Ayah Altayri, are attempting to extort the label. He asserted, “This is a clear example of a shakedown lawsuit… There are text messages and communications that totally refute these baseless claims. Additionally, Ms. Luna and Ms. Altayri were never employees of Top Dawg Entertainment. We are confident that we will prevail in this action.”

In response to these allegations, Linda Luna took to social media to counter the label’s assertions. She posted what she claims to be proof of her affiliation with TDE, sharing images of herself with TDE employees, including a recent recruit. “Management memories with Alemeda but I’m lying??” she questioned, emphasizing the legitimacy of her claims. Luna further stated, “But I never worked with TDE??? Hmm, and my legal team nor I have ever asked for $48 million neither nor any other dollar amount. This is why it’s hard for women to come forward, but we will let this play in court with the evidence.”

Luna’s statements highlight the broader issue of systemic abuse and manipulation faced by women in the entertainment industry. She expressed her frustration, saying, “It’s unfortunate women in this male-dominated industry are conditioned to think this type of manipulation & abuse is normal and we accept… not anymore.” In a follow-up post, she declared, “This is my truth and I am finally standing up for myself. This doesn’t have anything to do with any artists beef […] In no way, form or shape is this a plot or agenda to bring anyone down… this is my life.”

The allegations against Brandon Tiffith include unwanted sexual advances and sexual battery, while Anthony Tiffith Jr. is accused of a “pattern of sexual harassment.” One plaintiff, described as a friend of a TDE artist, alleges that she was sexually harassed multiple times by TDE employees, including an incident where she was provided alcohol while underage in an apparent effort to facilitate sexual advances.

The plaintiffs’ lawyer, Shounak S. Dharap, stated: “This lawsuit presents a glaring example of the systemic abuse and exploitation in the entertainment industry. Our clients trusted TDE to act with integrity and professionalism. Instead, their trust was betrayed in profoundly damaging ways. They’re bringing this lawsuit because they refuse to be silenced, and because they intend to hold TDE accountable in court.”

This lawsuit comes at a particularly sensitive time for TDE, coinciding with the label’s notable achievements at the 2025 Grammy Awards, where SZA won Best R&B Song and Doechii claimed Best Rap Album. The timing of the allegations raises questions about the intersection of success and accountability within the industry, as the legal drama unfolds against a backdrop of celebration for the label.

The ongoing legal battle sheds light on the darker realities faced by individuals within the entertainment industry, particularly women who have historically been silenced. As the case progresses, it will undoubtedly serve as a focal point in discussions about accountability and reform in the music business.
