Popular Twitch streamer Kai Cenat, known for his impressive following of over 16.8 million fans, faced a significant security breach on April 3, 2025. The incident involved the hacking of his Twitch account, which resulted in changes to his display image and banner, as well as a temporary ban.
According to reports, the hacker replaced Cenat’s profile picture with a logo reading “Sava” and added a Discord link that redirected users to “Discord.gg/namesnipes.” This alarming alteration quickly garnered attention across social media platforms, where fans expressed their confusion and disbelief over how such a high-profile streamer could fall victim to a hack. One user on X questioned, “How does the biggest streamer on the platform get hacked?” while others criticized Twitch for its apparent security shortcomings.
In addition to the profile changes, Cenat’s Twitch username was temporarily altered to “Savawuzhere” before being reverted back to its original name. The automated tracker @StreamerBans indicated that the account was briefly banned, likely as a precautionary measure by Twitch to prevent further misuse. Although the page has since been restored, the modified profile image remains intact.
This incident marks the second notable hack targeting Cenat; in February 2025, his TikTok account, which boasts over 17 million followers, was also compromised. That breach resulted in the temporary loss of over 130 million likes, although those have since been recovered.
Currently the fourth-most followed streamer on Twitch, trailing only behind Ninja, Ibai, and Auronplay, Cenat has yet to publicly comment on the hacking incident. Speculation has arisen among fans that the same individual or group may be behind both breaches, pointing to similarities in the logos involved.
While Twitch has not released an official statement regarding the incident, the platform typically suspends compromised accounts to prevent further misuse in accordance with its Terms of Service. As the story develops, fans and followers are left wondering how this situation will impact Cenat’s streaming career and the broader conversation around security on popular platforms.
