Shocking Legal Blow: The Game Forced to Sell Luxurious Mansion to Settle Sexual Assault Judgment

In a stunning turn of events, rapper The Game, born Jayceon Terrell Taylor, has been ordered by a judge to sell his lavish Calabasas mansion as part of a $7 million judgment stemming from a sexual assault case. The ruling comes after years of the rapper’s refusal to pay damages to Priscilla Rainey, who accused him of inappropriate conduct during the filming of his VH1 reality series, “She’s Got Game.”

The allegations date back to 2015 when Rainey claimed that during the production, The Game sexually assaulted her, resulting in a lawsuit. Although the rapper denied the allegations, he did not appear in court for the trial, leading to a default judgment in 2016. Rainey was awarded $1.13 million in compensatory damages, along with an additional $6 million in punitive damages.

Despite attempts to challenge the ruling, arguing that his home should be protected under California’s homestead exemption laws, the court found that he did not meet the necessary criteria. As a result, the judge ruled that the mansion, currently valued at over $4 million, must be sold to satisfy the judgment in favor of Rainey.

The Game’s legal troubles highlight a troubling chapter in his career, as he continues to grapple with the implications of this case and the potential fallout from his public denials. As he faces this financial setback, the rapper remains under scrutiny, and his future endeavors may be overshadowed by the ongoing legal battles stemming from this serious accusation.
