The Power franchise continues to expand with the announcement of a new spinoff titled Power: Legacy, featuring the return of fan-favorite characters Tariq St. Patrick and Tommy Egan. The project is in development at Starz and is set to be produced by Gary Lennon and Kendra Chapman, who previously worked on Power Book IV: Force, with Lennon serving as the showrunner.

Power: Legacy will join the ranks of existing spinoffs, including Power Book II: Ghost, Power Book III: Raising Kanan, and Power Book IV: Force, which have collectively contributed to the franchise’s ongoing success since the original series debuted in 2014. The new series will take place in the present timeline, allowing for potential crossover opportunities between Tariq, played by Michael Rainey Jr., and Tommy, portrayed by Joseph Sikora. Both actors are set to reprise their roles, much to the excitement of the Power fanbase.

In addition to Power: Legacy, there is also a project in the works titled Power: Origins, which focuses on the early years of Ghost and Tommy, although it has not yet been officially picked up by the network.
