Drake Unveils Stunning ‘Beauty & The Beast’ Chain Inspired by Virgil Abloh

In a dazzling display of artistry and tribute, Drake has revealed a new chain inspired by the late fashion icon Virgil Abloh. The pendant, which resembles Cogsworth, the clock character from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, was showcased on July 14, crafted by renowned jeweler Alex Moss.

The exquisite piece features 18 karats of yellow, rose, and white gold, adorned with 154.39 carats of white diamonds that comprise the clock’s face. To add to its unique charm, black diamonds and Burmese rubies were used for Cogsworth’s mouth, while a 1-carat heart-shaped diamond is elegantly positioned in the clock’s hand. Moss also left his signature in gold on the back of the pendant and used a special clasp to attach it to a luxurious Hermes chain.

The Hermes chain itself is crafted from 18-karat rose gold and boasts 88.26 carats of pavé set, VVS, Color D-F white diamonds. Drake’s new bling pays homage to Abloh’s notable Lumière pendant, a heartfelt tribute that he acknowledged in an Instagram post: “V we still here untouchable,” he wrote.

Drake debuted this stunning chain during his headlining performance at Wireless Fest, where he closed out the event over three nights, delivering a mix of classic hits and new tracks. The Canadian rap superstar brought an impressive lineup of special guests on stage, including Lauryn Hill—who performed “Nice For What” live with him for the first time—Givēon, Bryson Tiller, Bobby Valentino, 21 Savage, Latto, Sexyy Red, and Vybz Kartel. He also showcased numerous UK artists such as Dave, Skepta, J Hus, and Central Cee, and even premiered an unreleased collaboration with Cench on the festival’s final night.
