Co-written by 2 Chainz and actor Omar Epps, the film is set in Atlanta and promises to deliver a powerful narrative.
The trailer, shared on Instagram, showcases the emotional depth of the story, with 2 Chainz announcing, “The wait is over….with the Red Clay Soundtrack dropping soon it’s only right we drop the trailer.” The film will feature a star-studded soundtrack, including artists like The Isley Brothers, Ne-Yo, and Lil Yachty, among others.
The plot centers around a teenager named Nook, portrayed by Christopher A’mmanuel, as he strives to break free from a toxic cycle of poverty and addiction. Themes of survival and resilience are woven throughout the film, highlighting the struggles faced by many in similar circumstances.
