DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN – On Tuesday, July 29, 2025, Romeo Gonzalez, the 53rd and final defendant associated with the notorious Bully Gang, was convicted in federal court. This significant ruling was announced in a press release from the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, where Gonzalez, 27, pleaded guilty before United States Magistrate Judge Cheryl L. Pollak.
The Bully Gang, a violent street organization based in Bedford-Stuyvesant, has been linked to a range of criminal activities, with its members and associates spanning in age from 27 to 58. While many hail from Brooklyn, others have connections to Maine.
