Despite the defense’s attempts to paint Kingston as a “soft guy” who rose to fame overnight and lacked business acumen, the jury reached a verdict in just three hours. In addition to the federal sentence, both Kingston and Turner are still facing state fraud charges, adding to their legal woes.
