Carroll, 52, was in Southaven as part of Katt Williams’ current Heaven on Earth Comedy Tour, and was reportedly with the tour when the shooting occurred. Family members, including Carroll’s brother, Kemp Earle, expressed their heartbreak and confusion over the unexpected loss, stating, “It’s like your family member, your brother, your closest relative goes out of town, and something happens to them, and you don’t know what exactly.”
