In an exciting announcement that has hip-hop fans buzzing, Mobb Deep has revealed their upcoming album Infinite, set to drop on October 10, 2025, via Mass Appeal. This marks the legendary duo’s first project since the passing of Prodigy in 2017 and their first album since 2014’s The Infamous Mobb Deep.
To kick off the announcement, Mobb Deep has shared the album’s lead track, “Against the World,” produced by Havoc. The song encapsulates the classic Mobb Deep energy that fans have come to love—dark, real, and unfiltered. The track serves as a fitting introduction to an album that Havoc describes as “coming full circle,” showcasing the sound that shaped their careers while also reflecting the current state of hip-hop.
Infinite features 15 tracks, marking Prodigy’s second posthumous release following The Hegelian Dialectic 2: The Book of Heroine in 2022. Havoc has expressed a deep sense of nostalgia and pride in this new project, stating, “It’s that classic Mobb energy—dark, real, unfiltered. The sound that shaped who we are but also speaks to where hip-hop is right now.”
In addition to the album release, Havoc will be hitting the road for a co-headlining tour with Raekwon, celebrating the 30th anniversary of Mobb Deep’s iconic sophomore album, The Infamous, which originally released in 1995. This tour promises to be a significant event for fans, as it will honor the legacy of one of hip-hop’s most influential duos while introducing new material from Infinite.
With anticipation building for both the album and the upcoming tour, Mobb Deep is poised to once again solidify their place in hip-hop history. Fans can now look forward to experiencing the evolution of their sound while honoring the memory of Prodigy.
