Celebrity Legal: Drill Rapper Found Guilty of Murder Following “No Face, No Case” Lyrics

In a shocking turn of events, drill rapper Lekan Akinsoji has been found guilty of murder following the fatal stabbing of rival Ahmed Deen-Jah in a convenience store attack. Akinsoji, along with accomplice Sundjata Keita, both 27, were convicted in a trial at the Old Bailey after evidence revealed a calculated attack on the 21-year-old victim.

The prosecution presented evidence that Akinsoji had bragged about evading capture in his music, stating in a video titled “Armed and Ready,” “No face, no case, no evvy (evidence).” This chilling admission came just 10 days prior to the attack, which occurred on April 2, 2017, when Deen-Jah was targeted after purchasing a lighter near Custom House station in Newham, east London.

Sundjata Keita, 27, who, along with Lekan Akinsoji, also 27, was convicted of the 2017 murder of 21-year-old Ahmed Deen-Jah

In a premeditated assault, Akinsoji and Keita, both disguised in balaclavas and black clothing, chased Deen-Jah into the store where he was fatally stabbed in the heart during a struggle. The horrifying incident was captured on CCTV footage, which played a crucial role in the prosecution’s case.

The court heard that Deen-Jah was a known member of the Custom House gang, while Akinsoji was associated with the Woodgrange gang. Prosecutor Anthony Orchard KC emphasized that the murder was not a spur-of-the-moment act but rather a planned attack stemming from ongoing street violence between rival gangs.

Despite Akinsoji’s attempts to deny involvement and his claims of promoting gang violence through social media, the jury found both him and Keita guilty of murder by a majority verdict. They have been remanded in custody and are set to be sentenced on October 24.

This case serves as a stark reminder of the violent realities often depicted in drill music and the consequences that can arise from gang-related activities. For more updates on celebrity legal matters and other news, stay tuned to hiphopraisedmetheblog.com!
