Rapper Finesse2Tymes has found himself in legal trouble once again, as he was arrested in Texas on October 20, just a month after a previous arrest for similar offenses. The Memphis native, whose real name is Ricky Leshay Hampton, was taken into custody on multiple drug possession charges, according to jail records obtained by Complex.
This latest arrest includes eight charges against the 33-year-old rapper, with accusations of marijuana possession, tampering with physical evidence with intent to impair, and possession of controlled substances. While further details surrounding the arrest have yet to be disclosed, Finesse2Tymes is currently being held at Harrison County Jail.
This incident follows his previous arrest last month, during which he was taken into custody alongside FNG Shugga, the mother of his child. Both were arrested on drug and gun possession charges shortly after performing at a concert in Tyler, Texas, but managed to make bail shortly thereafter.

Finesse2Tymes’s legal troubles have a long history, dating back to 2010 when he was sentenced to eight years in prison for two felony counts of aggravated robbery. After serving six years, he was released in 2016 but found himself back in trouble in 2018, receiving a five-year sentence for being a felon in possession of a firearm. He was released from federal custody in 2022.
