In the 46-page ruling, judges concluded that the evidence presented during the trial was “more than sufficient” to support the jury’s determination that Tory Lanez personally inflicted great bodily injury on Megan Thee Stallion. The court upheld the charges against him, which included assault with a semiautomatic firearm, possessing a loaded unregistered firearm in a vehicle, and discharging a firearm with gross negligence.
The shooting incident occurred in July 2020 during a party at Kylie Jenner’s Hollywood Hills home, where Megan was injured in both feet. She testified that an argument erupted between her and Tory, leading him to fire a weapon and allegedly tell her to “dance, bitch.” Furthermore, Megan claimed that Tory later offered her $1 million to keep quiet about the incident.
