FBG Casino, the rapper known as Rico Deville Buice and brother of the renowned artist Future, has been arrested and charged with conspiracy to possess fentanyl with the intent to distribute. This arrest took place on November 14, when law enforcement officials from the FBI and DEA executed a raid on an Airbnb property in Forest Park, Georgia, where significant quantities of the deadly substance were discovered.
During the operation, agents reportedly found an alarming 21 kilograms of fentanyl, with some of the drugs bearing a Louis Vuitton stamp. Additionally, authorities seized approximately $380,000 in cash, which was discovered in various locations, including $300,000 in a cardboard box and $80,000 in a Goyard bag believed to belong to Buice. Furthermore, Buice was found with an extra $4,000 in his possession when he attempted to flee through a side door.
Prosecutors allege that the circumstances indicate Buice’s co-defendant, David Estevan Montillo Diaz, was actively engaged in selling fentanyl to him. Paul Brown, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI Atlanta, commented on the operation, stating, “This operation exemplifies the Task Force’s effectiveness in disrupting dangerous drug trafficking activities. The seizure of 21 kilograms of fentanyl and over $380,000 in drug proceeds is a significant blow to those who threaten our communities with poison. The FBI, alongside our law enforcement partners, will relentlessly pursue these offenders and ensure they face justice.”
Currently, Buice remains in custody, with prosecutors pushing for him to be denied bail due to the grave nature of the charges—potentially leading to a life sentence or even the death penalty. They also express concerns about his risk of fleeing, citing inconsistencies in his financial disclosures. Buice claimed to earn $2,166.67 monthly as a studio manager, yet he was recently living in a $4 million property and owns multiple luxury vehicles, including a Mercedes and a BMW.
