In a tragic incident on Thursday evening, a man armed with a knife was shot and killed by police officers at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. The event unfolded around 5:30 p.m. in the Park Slope neighborhood, prompting a swift response from the New York City Police Department (NYPD).
According to police reports, officers were alerted to a situation involving a man with a sharp object inside the hospital. Upon arrival, they learned that the suspect had barricaded himself in a room with other individuals and had also inflicted injuries upon himself.
