Megan Thee Stallion is making headlines once again, this time for her upcoming role in the NBC sitcom, The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins, where she will share the screen with none other than Daniel Radcliffe and Tracy Morgan. The series, which centers around a fallen NFL star striving to redeem his reputation with the assistance of a documentary filmmaker, boasts a star-studded cast that also includes Erika Alexander, Bobby Moynihan, Precious Way, and Jalyn Hall.
The Grammy-winning artist took to Instagram to tease her involvement in the show, posting a photo alongside Radcliffe. Fans were quick to express their enthusiasm in the comments, with one user humorously commenting, “Harry Potter and the order of the hottie!?” while another exclaimed, “AIN’T NO WAY MY WORLDS COLLIDING LIKE THIS.”
Radcliffe, who has taken on a series of eclectic roles since his days as Harry Potter, continues to surprise audiences with his choice of projects. Creator Robert Carlock praised Radcliffe’s adventurous spirit, stating, “He’s made some wonderfully weird choices in his post-Potter career, and I’d like to think this is one of them, doing a sitcom.” He added that the timing worked out perfectly, as Radcliffe was excited about the project.
Tracy Morgan echoed this sentiment, sharing his excitement about working with Radcliffe, saying, “That day I found out Daniel Radcliffe was going to be on my show, I knew we got a hit. Because me and him are from two different worlds. And we had chemistry automatically.”
The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins is set to premiere on February 23 at 8:00 PM ET/PT on NBC, debuting with two episodes. Following the premiere, new episodes will air on Mondays at 8:30 PM starting March 2. This marks yet another opportunity for Megan Thee Stallion to showcase her acting chops, following her appearances in Dicks: The Musical, Mean Girls, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, and Big Mouth.
