As excitement builds for the Great New York State Fair, we are thrilled to announce that beloved rapper Flo Rida will be returning to the Suburban Park stage this summer! Mark your calendars for Sunday, August 30, at 8 p.m., as he gears up for what promises to be another electrifying show.
Fair Director Julie LaFave expressed her enthusiasm in a recent press release, stating, “Every year, our R&B and hip-hop acts captivate huge audiences. Flo Rida previously set attendance records with one of the largest crowds in fair history, and we anticipate an equally spectacular turnout this time around!”
Flo Rida, hailing from Miami, first took the stage at the fair in 2024, where he wowed an audience of 42,000 fans, making it the fifth-largest gathering recorded at the event. Known for chart-topping hits like “Right Round,” “In the Ayer,” and “Low,” which dominated the Billboard Top 100 for an impressive 10 weeks, Flo Rida’s music is sure to keep the energy soaring.
The NY State Fair will feature over 40 concerts across its two main stages: Suburban Park and Chevy Court. Suburban Park, located near Gate 10, will showcase the fair’s biggest acts, while Chevy Court, situated near Gate 1, will offer daily performances at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m., with special shows on Fridays at 9 p.m.
Last year’s festival boasted a diverse lineup, welcoming artists from various genres, including Jessie Murph, Shaggy, and Lynyrd Skynyrd, each drawing crowds of over 30,000.
Best of all, concert admission is included with the price of fair entry, which remains at an affordable $8—free for seniors aged 65 and older and children 12 and under.
