Celebrity Legal: Mo3 Murder Trial Centers on Surveillance Evidence Linking Alleged Gunman

The murder trial of Kewon White, accused of fatally shooting rapper Mo3, is drawing significant attention as prosecutors present surveillance footage as key evidence against him. The footage allegedly shows White wearing the same blue underwear on multiple days around the time of Mo3’s murder, which occurred on November 11, 2020, on a Dallas interstate.

Prosecutors argue that this detail, although seemingly mundane, is part of their effort to establish a timeline connecting White to the crime. The surveillance captures a man outside a residence with a firearm the day before Mo3’s death, followed by footage showing the same individual again, just before the shooting. Prosecutors claim that items connected to the murder were burned shortly after the incident, but they have yet to conclusively link all items seen in the footage to the crime.

Witness accounts describe a man exiting a dark vehicle with a rifle and chasing Mo3, whose real name was Melvin Noble. Tragically, Mo3 was shot during the pursuit, resulting in his death, while another innocent driver was also struck but survived.

White’s defense team is challenging the prosecution’s claims, arguing that the case is built on assumptions rather than solid evidence. Defense attorney Myra McIntosh pointed out that no eyewitnesses have directly identified White as the shooter, emphasizing gaps in the prosecution’s narrative.

This trial is significant not only for the charges against White but also for the broader implications involving fellow rapper Yella Beezy, who is accused of orchestrating the murder-for-hire plot and has pleaded not guilty. Another co-defendant, Devin Brown, is also facing charges related to the case.

As the trial progresses, the focus remains on the evidence presented and the testimonies that will shape the proceedings. Kewon White has pleaded not guilty, and the trial is expected to continue into September as prosecutors work to establish a connection between White and the alleged shooting.
