After an 18-year hiatus, the Grammy-winning duo Gnarls Barkley is set to hit the road once again, thrilling fans with their upcoming ‘To Whom It Still Concerns’ Tour. Comprised of the talented CeeLo Green and producer Danger Mouse, this nine-city North American tour marks a significant return for the iconic pair, who last performed live in 2008.
The tour kicks off on November 5 at San Francisco’s The Masonic and will conclude on November 28 at Chicago’s House of Blues. It supports their recent album, Atlanta, which serves as the final chapter in their musical journey, arriving earlier this year through 10k Project/Atlantic Records. Fans can purchase tickets starting September 24 through Live Nation.
CeeLo Green expressed the essence of the tour, noting that it operates as “an open book,” addressing the universal themes of life, death, and everything in between. He invites audiences to join in a celebration of the “beautiful madness” that life presents, emphasizing the importance of connection through music.
Gnarls Barkley first gained widespread acclaim with their debut album, St. Elsewhere, in 2006, featuring the chart-topping hit “Crazy,” which reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. Their sophomore effort, The Odd Couple, followed in 2008, and while fans have eagerly awaited new material, Green and Danger Mouse have revealed that their long-awaited third album was always in the cards, despite life’s distractions.
The duo’s return is not just about nostalgia; it’s a fresh exploration of their artistry, with the newly released single “Pictures” setting the tone for their current musical landscape. As they prepare to take the stage once more, Gnarls Barkley is ready to captivate audiences and create memorable moments that resonate well beyond the concert hall.
For fans eager to catch this legendary duo live, these tour dates promise to deliver an unforgettable experience. Stay updated on all things related to Gnarls Barkley and their exciting journey by visiting hiphopraisedmetheblog.com.
