42 DUGG RELEASED FROM PRISON AFTER 6 MONTHS, WELCOMED HOME BY YO GOTTI

42 Dugg has been released from prison after six months behind bars and he was welcomed home by none other than Yo Gotti.

Sources have relayed to HipHopDX that 42 Dugg (born Dion Hayes) was released from prison on Monday (October 16)

CMG boss Yo Gotti welcomed him home along with friends and family and took the Detroit native straight to the studio to work on new music.

Check out footage of Gotti and Dugg happily reuniting below:

42 Dugg was previously sentenced to a year behind bars for failure to surrender charges and ended up serving six months due to a 2020 federal gun case.

Upon regaining his freedom, 42 Dugg will be under a supervised release program for three years. He also had to cough up a $20,000 fine and will need to remain drug-free

Back in May, Dugg took to social media and voiced his frustration with the prison conditions which included having to use hot shower water to heat up his food.

“Im in jail for going to the gun range, dropping dirty and failure to appear. I didn’t steal from nobody, hurt nobody, they handling me crazyMan im in this bitch heating my food up with the water from the nasty ass shower,” he pleaded.

They dont even give us hot water to heat our food up aint no microwave, I can’t get no visits from my family nothing. Im sure they gone do some more illegal shit but what I pose to die in this bitch for probation violation.”

Even while in the can, Dugg was able to notch a pair of tracks (“Bae” and “One Time”) on CMG’s Gangsta Art 2: Reloaded compilation album.

Now that Dugg’s free, it remains to be seen if the 28-year-old will join CMG on their upcoming label tour which will kick off in November in Fort Worth, Texas and make trips to Atlanta, Washington D.C. and Charlotte.
