DIDDY REPORTEDLY LOSES SEVERAL BUSINESS PARTNERSHIPS FOLLOWING SEXUAL ASSAULT ALLEGATIONS

Diddy has reportedly lost out on numerous business partnerships after being accused of sexual assault in four separate lawsuits.

In total, 18 companies have severed ties with the Bad Boy Records founder’s latest project Empower Global, which is an e-commerce site with a focus on Black owned brands

In a report by Rolling Stone, numerous partners cited the accusations against Diddy as the reason for withdrawing from the venture.

Annette Njau, founder of handbag brand House of Takura, cited Cassie’s initial lawsuit against Puff, which was filed last month and settled “amicably” the following day.

This decision was made on the day that Casandra Ventura filed her lawsuit,” she said. “We take the allegations against Mr. Combs very seriously and find such behavior abhorrent and intolerable.

“We believe in victims’ rights, and support victims in speaking their truth, even against the most powerful of people.”

Lenard Grier of No One Clothiers, added: “While this decision was difficult due [to] the reverence we once held for Mr. Combs as a leader in business and entertainment, it was clearly the correct choice.”

Ashli Goudelock, owner of skincare brand Tsuri, also said she was looking to exit her partnership with Diddy: “As a women-owned and-led company, we do not and will not linger in a gray area about the mistreatment of women.”

Over 160 brands exist on Empower Global, which was launched in 2021. One company owner defended Diddy amid the mounting accusations, saying: “Please leave that man alone.”

Diddy has yet to comment on the report, but has repeatedly denied any allegations of criminal wrongdoing and all claims of sexual assault

Last week, he issued a statement on social media about the lawsuits, writing: “Enough is enough. For the last couple of weeks, I have sat silently and watched people try to assassinate my character, destroy my reputation and my legacy. Sickening allegations have been made against me by individuals looking for a quick payday.”

“Let me be absolutely clear: I did not do any of the awful things being alleged. I will fight for my name, my family and for the truth

In the wake of the allegations, the mogul also stepped down from his position of chairman at Revolt, the TV network he founded in 2012.
