HipHopRaisedMeTheBlog.com is excited to announce that J. Cole is gearing up to celebrate the 10th anniversary of his acclaimed album 2014 Forest Hills Drive with a special performance at Madison Square Garden. The highly anticipated show is set for December 16, 2024, marking a significant milestone for both the album and the artist.
Fans can look forward to presale tickets becoming available on Monday, December 2, at 10 AM EST, with general sales starting two days later. In a generous gesture, Cole is reserving 2,014 tickets that will be sold for just $1 each, symbolizing the album’s release year. These tickets will be available on the day of the concert, with details on their sale to be announced then.
In addition to the concert announcement, Cole revealed that he will be reissuing 2014 Forest Hills Drive in physical formats, complete with a collection of previously unreleased bonus tracks. This reissue includes a “10 Year Anniversary Edition,” featuring a blue-hued cover and four additional songs: “Home Soon,” “Die Together,” “Judgement Day,” and “Winter Wonderland.” There is also an “Alternate Cover” edition with new artwork and a different set of bonus tracks, including “Keep Heaven Dancing,” “Miles,” “Black Man In Hollywood,” and “Obviously.” Only 2,014 copies of the “Alternate Cover” vinyl will be made available.
The reissue is set to drop on December 6, just days before the anniversary celebration, and fans are eager to get their hands on these special editions. This announcement follows Cole’s recent decision to release three beloved mixtapes—The Come Up, The Warm Up, and Friday Night Lights—on streaming platforms for the first time.
As part of his ongoing career retrospective, Cole has also launched an audio series titled Inevitable, where he reflects on his career alongside his longtime manager Ibrahim “Ib” Hamad and collaborator Scott Lazer. The series has already provided fans with exciting insights, including unreleased music featuring Kendrick Lamar and Pharrell.
