Fashion Trends: Nas and Levi’s® Celebrate Hip-Hop Culture with New Collection

Levi’s® has teamed up with one of hip-hop’s most iconic figures, Nas, to launch a collection that pays homage to the rapper’s enduring legacy and the cultural impact of hip-hop. The Levi’s® x Nas collaboration features a selection of premium T-shirts inspired by the essence of Queens and the artistic journey of Nasir Jones.

Nas, celebrated for his storytelling prowess and lyrical depth, burst onto the scene with his groundbreaking debut album, Illmatic, in 1994. This album, which celebrated its 30th anniversary last year, is regarded as one of the most influential works in hip-hop history. Over the years, Nas has continued to release critically acclaimed projects, including It Was Written, Stillmatic, Life Is Good, and the King’s Disease series, all of which showcase his distinctive voice and connection to his roots.

The Levi’s® x Nas Band Tees collection features three unique T-shirts that reinterpret the spirit of classic band merchandise. Each design reflects Nas’s musical heritage while incorporating Levi’s® timeless style.

  1. A grey long-sleeved T-shirt features “Nas” prominently on the chest, with the inspiring motto “One life / One love / One King” on the back, resonating with the rapper’s philosophical outlook.
  2. The white short-sleeved T-shirt pays tribute to Illmatic, showcasing its iconic album cover on the front while displaying the Levi’s® logo on the sleeves.
  3. Finally, the black short-sleeved T-shirt features the cover art from Stillmatic, highlighting the album that solidified Nas’s status as hip-hop royalty alongside the Levi’s® branding.

“Nas represents the authentic spirit of hip-hop culture, which has always been intertwined with Levi’s®,” said Leo Gamboa, Vice President of Collaborations at Levi’s®. “With T-shirts that celebrate some of his most beloved albums, this collection honors the connection between music, style, and cultural expression that defines both Nas and Levi’s®.”

Celebrating Queens

The campaign accompanying the launch was produced in partnership with Mass Appeal, Nas’s record label, and directed by Phoenix Skye Maulella, with photography by Camilo Fuentealba Brevis. Set against the vibrant backdrop of Queens, the campaign captures real stories from the borough, celebrating its creative and hardworking spirit. Featured talents include Brian “B. Dot” Miller, Syreeta Gates, and Parks Vallely, who embody the energy and pride of the community.

This collaboration is part of a broader initiative by Levi’s® to honor iconic artists and bands, with previous collections featuring tributes to renowned names such as Oasis, Blur, Sonic Youth, Joy Division, and New Order. The Levi’s® x Nas collection will be available worldwide starting November 6, 2025, on Levi.com, the Levi’s® app, and at select Levi’s® stores.
