During a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Nas reflected on the creative journey leading up to this album, revealing that some ideas that were previously discussed over the years have finally come to fruition. “I’m going to say at least two of those ideas happened on this album,” he stated, expressing excitement about blending past concepts with new recordings.
