Busta Rhymes recently found himself in a heated moment at Art Basel in Miami when a TikTok content creator mistakenly referred to him as comedian Tracy Morgan. The incident, which was captured on video and later shared by TMZ, showcases the rapper’s frustration over the mix-up.
In the clip, the TikToker, while posing for a photo with Busta, addresses him as “Tracy,” leading the rapper to respond with disbelief and anger. “Wait, wait, wait. What’d you just say?” Busta asks, clearly taken aback. He then admonishes the prankster, stating, “Put your camera down… I’m taking a picture to show love, and you’re trying to be funny… You don’t play with a grown man, little boy. That’s how people get f***ed up.”
This isn’t the first time Busta has faced such comparisons. Back in 2020, he addressed similar trolling when 50 Cent shared a side-by-side photo of him and Tracy Morgan, joking about their resemblance. Busta had previously posted a motivational message on Instagram, emphasizing self-respect and dedication, which sparked the playful comparison from 50 Cent.
On a separate note, Busta Rhymes is currently working on a new album titled Vengeance, which he announced during his Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony in August. He had initially aimed to release the album in September, but as of now, fans are still waiting for its arrival following the release of two EPs earlier this year titled Dragon Season… The Awakening and Dragon Season… Equinox.
With tensions rising over the TikTok incident and fans eagerly anticipating his new music, Busta Rhymes continues to capture attention both for his artistic endeavors and his strong reactions to public misunderstandings.
