The ongoing feud between hip-hop artists Cam’ron and Jim Jones has reignited, with both parties taking to social media to exchange barbs. Recently, Cam’ron used Instagram to suggest that his former friend Jim Jones may be struggling, making a pointed comment about the cold weather in the Bronx.
In his post, Cam’ron cleverly remarked, “How u worried about me when ya heat off and rent due,” referencing the chilly temperatures that reportedly dipped to 7 degrees. His caption, laced with humor, read, “Herd it was 7 degrees in da Bronx last night 🤦🏾♂️😂😂😂😂,” indicating that he was not holding back.
Jones wasted no time in firing back, calling Cam’ron “soft” and extending the insult to Freekey Zeeky as well. “U soft,” he stated bluntly, adding, “U whole crew is soft,” before continuing with, “A block no u soft. Do ur shoe punk.”
Not one to back down easily, Cam’ron retaliated with further jabs, asking, “What’s wrong Capo? Ya heat off too? I ain’t know 🤷🏽😂. [I’d] hate for you to be 50yrs old wit no heat. What’s ya Zelle bro? I got u.” He followed up with, “Yea but my heat on. And I’m warm, you 50 years old, tough and cold. But dead a** tho capo, ya heat off for real??”
While the tension between Cam’ron and Jones continues to simmer, it appears that Jim is also embroiled in a separate dispute with 50 Cent. This rivalry escalated after Jones criticized the Netflix documentary directed by 50, leading to accusations of serious debt against Jones. Allegedly, he owes between $80K and $180K in unpaid rent, as revealed by a conversation with the owner of the Let’s Rap About It podcast studio.
The hosts of that podcast subsequently released a diss track titled “Squatter’s Rights,” taking shots at 50 Cent and further fueling the fire of their ongoing beef.
As the drama unfolds, fans are left wondering if there will ever be a resolution to these long-standing conflicts in the hip-hop community. For more updates on celebrity feuds and the latest in hip-hop culture, be sure to check out hiphopraisedmetheblog.com.
